Provided as-is, with no warranty
The site is an alpha and the tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that they are accurate, complete, error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or always available. Tools can have bugs, and results can be wrong.
Your files and your results are your responsibility
Keep a copy of anything you open in a tool, and check every output before you rely on it or send it to anyone — compressed, merged, converted, signed, redacted or edited files included. You are responsible for the files you use, the results you create, and what you do with them.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, engineering or other professional advice. The stock and options calculators are educational models, not recommendations to buy or sell anything. The airflow and air-conditioning planner gives rough estimates, not an HVAC or building assessment. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.
Signatures
The signature tool places an image of your signature on a PDF. It is not a certified electronic-signature service and keeps no audit trail. Whether a document signed this way is legally valid depends on where you are and what the document is for.
Use the tools honestly
Don't use the tools to break the law or to deceive or harm anyone — for example to forge a signature or document, pass off a chat mock-up as a real conversation, impersonate someone, or use images, text or other material you don't have the right to use. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you put into a tool.
What you make is yours
We claim no rights in the files you open or the things you create with the tools. They never reach us in the first place.
Third parties
The site shows ads from Google AdSense and uses Vercel Analytics, each under their own terms and privacy policies. The tools are built on open-source software used under its licenses. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we don't control them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Honest Online Toolsand the people behind it are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, documents, profits, or business, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site or its tools, even if we were told such damage was possible. Because the tools are free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero. Some places don't allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as the law permits.
Changes
We may change the tools or these terms at any time. When the terms change, we update this page and the date below; using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
