Every tool here runs entirely in your browser, so your files — PDFs, images, screenshots — are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers or stored anywhere. To keep the tools free, we show ads and track which pages and tools get used — that's how we fund the site and decide which tools to build next. Both work off how you use the site, never off your files or anything you do inside a tool. If we ever add features that genuinely need a server — accounts, saved history, cloud storage — we'll label them clearly and keep them separate from the local tools you use today.

Most free online tools are funded by making the tool itself annoying to use. We'd rather just be honest about how we keep the lights on (ads, disclosed plainly on our data policy) than dress the annoyances up as a business model.
